The Power Team has partnered with Canada’s Forest Trust, building smart forests across Canada.
With its Forever Forest Guarantee, CFT ensures that every forest built undergoes expert management and monitoring to create sustainable ecosystems which will help reach net zero. CFT is partnering with Indigenous communities and Knowledge Keepers to maximize the impact of building forests.
Together, we have begun our Power Team Smart Forest and have offset more than 164,000 kg CO2 with our initial investment. That’s equivalent to more than 2,700 10-year-old trees.
We will continue with this initiative throughout the LVM acquisition phase to offset our ongoing impact throughout the program.
